My daughter in law went on a 7 day trip leaving my son at home with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. His latest comment to me was, “I need her to come home. I am worn out!” No one, not even dad sometime, understands the time, energy and patience it takes to raise children. We love, discipline and protect them from the world and sometimes even from themselves. No matter what they do or don’t do, we love them unconditionally. Our heavenly Father sees us the same way except He never gets worn out. His patience, love and protection is never ending. He has to discipline us and protect us from the world and ourselves. He loves us unconditionally no matter what we do or don’t do. So, the next time you feel “worn out”, remember how much God loves you. Let Him refresh you with His word and surround you with His presence. Rest in His arms for a few moments and then carry on because that’s what moms do.
Everyone in a family needs rest, especially the little ones. If they are cranky, it tends to affect everyone in the house. So, today we feature our sleeper gowns. They are great to help keep our new babies warm. They are also helpful in diaper changes in the middle of the night when you baby isn’t quit awake yet. No zippers or snaps. They can remain asleep and get a dry diaper at the same time. These sleeper gowns come in both pink and blue for ages 0-6 months.
