First let me say that God grants grace to His Children. John 1:12 says that for one to become a child of God they must receive Him and believe in His Name. Romans 10:9-10 goes into more detail, “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
God’s first act of grace on a brand new believer who is seeking Him is forgiving our sins and accepting us as HIS-Child.
Grace doesn’t only mean you are accepted by God. It also means that God rejoices and enjoys you (“He will take great delight in you [and] rejoice over you with singing” Zeph. 3:17). God blesses us constantly. Bless Him today by giving Him your undivided attention and spend some quality time with Him. In the end, you’ll get the bigger blessing.
