Style with a message of Hope in Christ

You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. – Matthew 5:14 (MSG)

The world is a dark place and Jesus is the only light that stays lit. If you have Jesus, then you are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Don’t hide your light. I know that sharing Jesus can be tough. We worry about what others will think of us. We worry about rejection. Even when we know that it is Jesus being rejected, not us, this thought still plagues us. So, pray with me, that we will care more about what Jesus thinks of us that what others think of us.

How do you bring out “God colors” in your world? Any helpful hits to the struggling?

God and Sinners Reconciled

Joy to the world! Jesus has come and we can now approach God’s throne boldly.

“And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:18

How are you working on your task of reconciling people to God? Whom has God placed in your mission field and are you working diligently and praying constantly?

Billy Sunday Quote

Your ability to stand depends on your ability to kneel. You can’t have one without the other.

This is my story, this is my song

Some are very interesting and exciting. Some not so much. I view my story as boring. Married with 2 kids, have a home, teach Sunday School, never had to overcome life threatening circumstances; How much more average can a person be?

So, I ask myself, how can my story make a difference to anyone? The answer is simple…it cannot. But, you add God to the picture and you can change the world. He wrote your story and God is not boring!

…And who knows but that you “have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14b (NIV)

But, you say “I am not of royal position like Esther”. Are you a child of God? How much more royal can you get?
